CASINO AT VILLAJOYOSA - CHARITY EVENT FOR THE TSUNAMI FUND-January 22nd 2005
This was planned at very short notice by Onda Cero and the Casino. A full coach load went from Calpe. There was a selection of music while people dined on the buffet meal. There was more music for people to dance to, and some people parted with money at the auction, where over €2000 was raised. Others went into the Casino to try their luck. There was no news of any great wins, but everyone seemed to have a great time.
All in all, the gala raised over 10,000 euros for the Disaster Emergency Fund, so we can all be proud that we have done a little to help, and enjoyed ourselves at the same time.
