Meetings
There are 4 kinds of meeting in which you may be involved.
General meetings
These are held once a month, and are one of the main ways in which you can find out what is going on, ask questions, and make your personal opinions known.
They are usually held on the second Thursday of the month, in the theatre of the Casa de Cultura in Calpe.
The U3A President thanking everyone who took part in the Calpe Charity Shop fashion show at the March general meeting. There are more photos in the event album.
The next meeting will be on Thursday May 17th at the Casa de Cultura. The guest speaker will be the author Mike Rendell, who will give a talk on Life in England in the 18th Century.
10:00 AM for 10:30.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
This meeting is held on the second Thursday in November. Once again, it is usually held at the Casa de Cultura.
The most important item on the agenda is the election of a committee for the following year. You may like to check the committee posts which come up for election.
Committee meetings
Committee meetings are held once a month. Emergency committee meetings may be called in the event that an urgent issue arises.
Group meetings
Some groups hold meetings to discuss matters of particular concern to the group. These may be regular or ad hoc. Group members may participate.
