REPORT ON THE TRIP TO TERRA NATURA, BENIDORM- Wednesday 18th May 2005
The small party of members who drove to Terra Natura, the newest theme park of them all, near Benidorm, on Wednesday found the park interesting but the plants not quite sufficiently developed. It was as well for most that there was no real temptation to swim with sharks or to fly across the park on a zip wire - those sections were not ready. They will be something to look forward to on the next visit.
The park is split into different section - America, Europe, Asia and Greece each with their own typical animals plants and and restaurants with different shows in each including, in the Asian section the man with the longest moustache in the world. Spread eagled his arms couldn't extend it fully. For many probably the best part was the aviary where the vegetation was lush and the birds really exotic. But the lions frolicked, the elephants languished in the heat, and no-one rode the donkeys.
It was a good day out; tiring but satisfactory.
