It might seem early for a reminder of Membership Renewal in April, but we wanted to make everyone aware of a slight change this year. For one year only we are reducing the membership fee from €12 to €6. As in previous years, Membership Renewal has been made as simple as possible. All that is needed is for €6 (exact money only please) to be placed in an envelope with your name, membership No. and e-mail address on the outside and placed in the box on the Membership Desk. The following month your card will be ready for collection at the Desk.
This only applies to current members who are renewing their Membership. New Members must complete a Membership Form, but for one year only the fee will be €6. A receipt will be given which enables you to join any group prior to the issue of your membership Card, which will be ready for collection the following month.
Your membership to the U3A Calpe, not only entitles you to join any of the groups' activities, subject to a place being available, but it also gives you the benefits of enjoying discounts at certain establishments. Information is given to members through this website, through a monthly Newsletter, through the press and at the Monthly Meetings. Subsidies are also given on various travel events, the summer and Christmas lunches. So come along and join the U3A and have some fun!
The U3A choir has now commenced rehearsals for their concert which has now been deferred to September. The "theme" has yet to be decided but hopefully you will support the choir after all their hard work. More information will be given when available.
NB - As there has not been enough support for this event, we have decided to defer to a later date.
Come along to our fun night. U3A Calpe are holding a Karaoke and meal at Boleros Restaurante on Sunday evening ?? at 7.30 p.m. A roast meal(or Fish) with 1/2 bottle of wine per person 10 euros per head. No one is pressurised into singing. just come along and enjoy the company of friends and watch "other" people try their hand at "entertaining"
