THE UNIVERSITY OF THE THIRD AGE
ANNUAL EXHIBITION
MAY 5th - 9th 2009

We were all very fortunate in being allowed the use of the Exhibition Hall at the Casa de Cultura once again for our 5th Exhibition of all our works......and haven't we all been busy people?? When folks ask us what we do all day long with our new lives in Spain, then the exhibition showcases just what we do all get up to. For those that were unable to visit the exhibition, then you missed a real treat. For those that did visit then below are some photos as a reminder.

A lot of planning goes into organising an event of this nature and our thanks go to Jo Archer who coordinated the Group Leaders who were exhibiting. Our thanks also to Marco Bittner from the Casa de Cultura who was always on hand to give as much help with everything and organised for stands and tables to be available. Also to the bank of volunteers who manned the exhibition on a rota basis.

Of course, a really big thanks goes to all the Group Leaders, as there would be no u3a without people who are willing to give of their time and expertise for the benefit of others, and also a big thankyou to all members who contributed and made this the best Exhibition ever.

Many hours were taken in setting up the exhibition and each year it gets to look more and more professional. The standard just gets higher and higher.

After our General Meeting, our President, Roger Milsom opened the Exhibition, along with Linda Townsend, Concejal de Participión Cuidana and Pedro Jaime Fernandez Crespo, Concejal Delagado Adjunto Alacalde, Desportes y Tercera Edad.
