Well it just gets better and better….. the Exhibition, that is! This is the 4th Annual Exhibition and each year the standard of work improves. We have been very fortunate this year as the Mayor had requested that we display our work for 10 days and has given us use of an exhibition hall. This enabled everyone to take the time and effort to present the exhibition in a more professional manner, and I am sure that all who have visited it will agree that this has been worthwhile.
Apart from the Exhibition, at the General Meeting, we had as our guest speaker, Juliet Maric the British Consul from Alicante who gave a short talk and answered questions from the floor. She stayed after meeting and was happy to answer questions from the membership.

Following on from that there were two performances from the u3a Choir which were well accepted.
The membership then had plenty of time to wander amongst the exhibition and appreciate all the hard work that has gone into it all.

The morning concluded with everyone having drinks and tapas and a chance to catch up with friends
If you have not already been to the exhibition, please take time out for a visit...I am sure you will find it very worthwhile. Open until 19th May 2007
Our thanks go particularly to all the Group Leaders and members who contributed and especially to Annie Welton and Penny Clifford for the co-ordinating of the exhibits
