The sad loss of Peter Hardwick
It is with great sadness that we have learned from his family of the death of one of our members, Peter Hardwick.
His family wrote:-
"We are sorry to have to let you know that our father died suddenly on Monday 11th January 2010. He died peacefully just after eating his supper at the residential home where he had lived since June 2009.
We are grateful his passing was without suffering. All his children and grandchildren were able to come to Spain for his funeral on Saturday 16th Janaury, which was also attended by the many friends that he and our mother had made during their long retirement here in Altea La Vella on the Costa Blanca.
We know you will be sorry to receive this news, but please with us, remember our father had the luck to have a very full and adventurous life and that even at the moment of his passing he was lucky in that he went quickly without suffering."
